I recall my teacher praising Google books for "trying to upload all books in existence," and I remember thinking that Project Gutenberg was superior because it had a 4 decade headstart and uploaded texts with no added frills as plain .txt files.

This shows how 'going green' is good business... Upgrading to 'drip' irrigation, producing more tomatoes with less fertilizer, reducing the materials used in packaging, reducing the fuel use of their fleet, re-using water for other processes and making fuel from agricultural waste are all things that reduce costs. That means more profit. Nice to see one big company 'gets it'...!! |
